Sixteen

John Michael Cobb at sixteen, wearing a Mohawk and dark sunglasses
Me at sixteen. Photograph restored with AI; hairstyle corrected from my recollection.

English

Sixteen. A Mohawk cutting through the rules, dark glasses holding back the world. I had no map— just a pulse, and the stubborn music of becoming myself. The years changed the volume. I still know the song.

Português

Dezesseis. Ainda conheço a canção.
